Dorothee Merg

Dorothee Merg was born in Frankfurt am Main, where she currently lives and works. In 1989, she joined the municipal theatres in Frankfurt as a costume seamstress and began working for William Forsythe. During his tenure as the head of the Forsythe Company, she created various costume designs for several of his pieces. Today, she works for the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company and has, over time, designed costumes for various dance and theatre productions.
