On a late summer weekend, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden opens its doors to celebrate the new season with all the members of the chorus and orchestra, the stage, costume and make-up departments, and curious visitors of all ages. Whether you are an opera or ballet connoisseur or a newcomer to the world of opera and ballet, the programme for the popular Opening Parties offers exciting behindthe- scenes glimpses, information about premieres and rehearsals, lots of music to listen to or make yourself—and, of course, ballet! Our Tanz ist KLASSE! education programme offers workshops for young and old, and we give insights into the day-to-day work of our dancers. The programme will be announced soon, and admission is free.
