With over 200 workshops per season and regular further training, the dance teachers have an immeasurable wealth of experience and knowledge that they would now like to pass on. From this season, Tanz ist KLASSE! will be offering further training workshops for teachers and educators from daycare centres. The aim of the training is to provide teachers and educators who work with children aged between 1 and 6 with guidance on aesthetic education and an understanding of how aesthetic education can be organised. This workshop focuses on certain ‘movement organisation patterns’ according to Bartenieff, which children go through in their different developmental phases. In this way, the arts can be used to promote the process of ‘self-recognition’, which is so essential at this age. Small dance exercises are taught that can be incorporated into everyday life at the daycare centre. The aim is to playfully recognise one's own body connections through dance.
Participation fee: 100 euros per session.
