Never too late

Fancy some movement, physically active and looking for mental challenges? The Education Programme is offering a weekly course for people aged 60 and over, in which Kathlyn Pope, an experienced dance teacher at the Staatsballett Berlin, explores current Staatsballett Berlin productions with participants over a period of eight weeks. The programme not only promotes mental and physical flexibility, but also encourages participants to enjoy creating their own small choreographies strengthened.

A nice side effect: the participants find like-minded people in the course and possibly company for a future visit to the ballet. Because one thing is clear: it's never too late to start dancing!

Over a period of eight weeks, various productions of the Staatsballett Berlin are examined and explored through dance. Attending performances of the productions is recommended, but is not a prerequisite for participation. The course costs 95 euros for eight weeks.

You will find the exact time periods and thematic blocks below. The course always takes place on Mondays from 14:00 to 15:00 pm:
