Course for people with multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease

Summary

For the first time, we are offering a regular dance class that is suitable for people with multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease. It is possible to be accompanied by a partner or trusted friend.

As an art form, dance appeals to both the body and the mind and offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with oneself, strengthen the body and gain psychological and psychosocial benefits.

The course combines gentle movements with creative dance techniques tailored to the needs of the participants. With years of experience, dance teacher and coach Soraya Bruno, together with a team of qualified teachers, will guide participants to discover themselves through dance and movement in a creative atmosphere. The team offers individual support to promote coordination, flexibility and body awareness through various dance education exercises. Each session ends with a relaxed and open exchange among the participants.

The course takes place three times a month on Sundays in the studios of the Staatsballett Berlin at the Deutsche Oper and is barrier-free. The course is free of charge for participants, but please register in advance.
