    Experience your own body and feel its expressive possibilities, move to music, develop dance elements, rehearse a small presentation. This and much more is offered by a dance workshop in which (former) dancers of the Staatsballett Berlin pass on their skills and rehearse original choreographies of the Staatsballett Berlin.

    Age limit: 15 years and older, previous dance experience required.
    The workshops take place in the ballet studios of the Staatsballett Berlin at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
    Cost: 25 euros per person

    On June 30, two classical workshops on Giselle and a contemporary workshop on Messa da Requiem will be offered in parallel.

    In one of the classical workshops, Kathlyn Pope will rehearse a part of the Willis from Patrice Bart's Giselle. In the second classical workshop, solo dancer Aurora Dickie will be working on a variation of Myrtha, also from Giselle.

    The contemporary workshop will be led for the first time by Dominik White Slavkovsky, a member of the Staatsballett Berlin ensemble. After a contemporary training in which he also works with improvisation techniques, he will rehearse a part from Christian Spuck's Messa da Requiem with the participants.
