Alon Cohen

Alon Cohen, born in 1970 in Jerusalem, has been living in Germany since 2021 and works as a lighting designer, programmer, technical director, and consultant. He became involved in stage and performing arts as a teenager under the guidance of his father, a crew member at the local Jerusalem Theatre. Today, Cohen primarily works and designs for the Sharon Eyal Dance Company and developed the lighting concepts for her projects with tanzmainz, the Staatsballett Berlin, the Göteborgs Operans Danskompani, the Opéra national de Paris, and the Nederlands Dans Theater.
