Henriette Köpke
Henriette Köpke was born in Berlin. After completing her school education and training as an event management assistant, she pursued a degree in Cultural and Media Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin, graduating in 2015. During her studies, she began working with Tanz ist KLASSE! e.V., the education programme of the Staatsballett Berlin, where she has been coordinating operational activities since 2012, including periods covering parental leave.
From 2012 onwards, Henriette has served as the project manager for dance performances and projects on a large public scale with Tanz ist KLASSE! e.V. Some notable projects include Parade & Potpourri in 2013 (a collaboration with GESOBAU AG at Fontane-Haus Berlin), TRAUMKINDER – Wenn der Schlaf mit mir tanzen will in 2014 (a project with the Deutsche Stiftung Schlaf at the Staatsoper im Schiller Theater), Let’s Glänz in 2015 (a project with Mercedes-Benz Niederlassung Berlin and the Berliner Stadtreinigung at Mercedes-Benz Nutzfahrzeug-Zentrum Berlin), Bona nox in 2016 (a project with the Deutsche Oper Berlin in the Tischlerei der Deutschen Oper Berlin), Tanz den Luther in 2017 (a project with the Reformationsjubiläum 2017 e.V. in Lutherstadt Wittenberg), festiTANZ – 10 Jahre Tanz ist KLASSE! e.V. in 2017 (at Urania Berlin), props_an_Grimm in 2018 (at Deutsche Oper Berlin), DistANCE in 2019 (a dance film project commemorating the fall of the Berlin Wall, awarded the Deutscher Einheitspreis), and Vom Stolpern und Staunen in 2023 (at Deutsche Oper Berlin).
In 2020, Henriette completed the part-time further education programme «Management-Marketing-Kommunikation für Kunst und Kultur» at FH Potsdam, and in 2023, she successfully finished the part-time qualification «Fachprofil Kulturelle Bildung», supported by the Senate Department for Education, Youth, and Family.
