Nancy Bryant
Nancy Bryant works as a designer in the fields of dance, theater, opera, and film, residing in Vancouver, Canada. She has a close collaboration with choreographer Crystal Pite. She has designed costumes for Crystal Pite's Body and Soul and The Seasons' Canon for the Paris Opera Ballet, Flight Pattern for the Royal Ballet London, Figures in Extinction, Partita, Parade, and Plot Point for Nederlands Dans Theater, Revisor and The Tempest Replica for Pite's own company Kidd Pivot, and Betroffenheit for a collaboration between Kidd Pivot and Electric Co. Additionally, she worked on costumes for Angels' Atlas at the National Ballet of Canada and the Zurich Opera House, Light of Passage at the Royal Ballet London and the Norwegian National Ballet, and Assembly Hall for Kidd Pivot. Her work on costume designs has brought her together with various teams of fellow designers, directors, authors, and choreographers in theaters and production workshops across Canada, the USA, the UK, and Europe. Her professional background in visual arts and her longstanding collaboration with some of Canada's innovative and groundbreaking theater artists have influenced her approach to costume design.
