Ori Lichtik

Ori Lichtik is a multifaceted musician, drummer, and creative DJ. Since his first collaboration on Bertolina, Lichtik has accompanied the choreographic process alongside Gai Behar and Sharon Eyal, creating music that reflects, triggers, and responds to the movements of the dancers with the tone and flow of his percussive sounds and rhythms. His compositions result in works that precisely structure the performances. During live performances, he improvises with layers of digitally manipulated effects, creating a unique sound experience at each event. As one of the founding fathers of the techno scene in Israel, he has been creating, producing, and developing music projects, techno raves, and numerous other music and performance events since 1996. Over the past decade, Lichtik has coordinated the DJ Department of Music in Tel Aviv and taught this program at the College for Musical Productions.
