Rok Predin

A visual artist and director of animated films, Rok Predin studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana before starting to create short animated films and music videos in 2004. In 2009, he moved to London and joined the animation production company Trunk Animation, where he worked on short animated films, commercials, music videos, TV intros, and stage projections.
In 2012, he created the projections for the façade of Buckingham Palace, displayed during the celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee. His short animated film One of a Kind won the Audience Award at the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film in 2014. He has collaborated with major musical acts, including The Rolling Stones, Elton John, U2, Take That, and Madness, and recently directed an animated music video for The Beatles.
He has directed commercials for international brands and designed stage sets and video projections for the Slovenian National Theatre Maribor. Additionally, he works as a director, set designer, and visual designer with the Maribor Puppet Theatre.
